PX-T10 & ColorFx
The PX-T10 and ColorFx are the next generation of wireless controls and requires fixtures programmed with firmware PX V2.0 or later. The PX series devices were designed to be user programmable so users can update devices as we design more features. See PX Programmer for more details.

PX-T10 Key Features

Master Controls

A Master control is one of the most asked for feature. This will dim all fixtures that are under the control of the PX-T10. Dimmer value from 0 to 100% will be displayed on the PX-T10 and an indicator will light if the dimmer is below 100%.

ColorRolls

ColorRolls have also been a key feature since version 1. ColorRolls can now be terminated using a ColorRoll Stop button. The Stop button not only terminates the ColorRoll but it will also return the fixture to the static color it was displaying before the ColorRoll was started.

ColorRolls Rates can also be edited without the need to restart. The PX-T10 keeps track of all 90 fixtures and when the user returns to a fixture with an active ColorRoll the PX-T10 will indicate the ColorRoll and the RGB UP/DN buttons will be used to edit the rate values.

Full key

We have added a Full key for quick editing. If the user wants a 100% blue the Full key can be pressed along with the Blue UP button. This will set the Blue to full on with one press. The Full key also works with RGB and Master keys. Full On or Full OFF.

Group and Go

This new feature we call Group and Go. It functions to groups a set of fixtures for editing. When the GO button is pressed the PX-T10 starts to collect the Q's the user presses and groups the selection then the user selects a color for the group and executes. All fixtures in the group will change to the selected color. Cross fade are also edit able for this feature.

SFCP (Single Fixture ColorRoll Programming)

This feature has been available on previous controllers but has been difficult to use. There is now a button just for this feature. Programming a ColorRoll the user was required to have 10 fixtures each programmed to 1 each 10 Q's to see the actual color. With the SFCP button all 10 Q's will direct the color to fixture 1 during editing.

F-Save

This command is associated with the fixture. When the fixture receives this command it stores the current color the fixture is displaying to memory and recalls the color when the fixture powers up. This will allow the user to set fixtures to a color and not a require a remote to set. This is useful to events that require a static color and will not require change. The F-Save command shares the Record button on the PX-T10. This command is executed when the Shift + Rec buttons are pressed.

10 Color Preset

Q1 through Q10 are also Color presets. Color presets can also be edited to a desired color is the factory color is not a desired color.

PX-T10 Display

The PX-T10 has display enhancements for more control. There are 4 indicator lights for Master, ColorRoll, ALL and Group which will light if any of these are associated with the current commands.

RGB Color Simulator

The RGB color simulator will simulate the current fixtures color. This is also useful for ColorRoll editing

Display value in % or DMX

The display can be changed to display the RGB value in % - through 100 or for the DMX enthusiast and DMX value of 0 through 255.

Battery Monitor

The PX-T10 has an internal battery monitoring code to alert the user the battery is low. There is also a Battery Test button the user can press to test the battery level. Shift + G0(battery) will display % left on battery power

ColorFx
The ColorFx is our new effects generator for PX series LED fixtures and require fixture to be running PX series software V2.0. The ColorFx uses the technology found in the PX-T10 with enhanced display and RGB color simulator and can control up to 40 fixtures and generate synchronized effects in groups of 10. The ColorFx can be used in conjunction with the PX-T10 to add effects to an event with seamless starting and stopping of effects patterns. The colorFx can also be used as a primary controller as it can set a scene with the RGB fixture editing option. We have listed the key features with a description and there function below.

Basic functions

The ColorFx can control up to 40 fixtures in 4 groups of 10 for each group. The ColorFx has 12 effects patterns. These patterns are the building block to creating the effects. After an effect has been selected the user can select the colors, the rate (speed) the effects will run, chooses Fade and Flash for the effect, and select to use color scrolling for the effect. Once all these options have been selected the user can press the GO buttons to execute. This process is repeated for each of the 4 groups. When a group has been selected the ColorFx will identify if the group is running an effects pattern or is set to a static color. This will enable the user to set static colors and effects with the same remote. When effects are terminated with the FX STOP button the selected group of fixtures will return to the same static colors that the fixture was displaying before the effects was started.
